Unlike other practices that rely on checklists, we use an FDA-cleared computerized tool with facial recognition technology to track ADHD symptoms like attention, impulsivity, & movement bringing science and precision to every ADHD evaluation.
Is Your Child Struggling to Focus, Stay Organized, or Follow Through?
Whether your child constantly forgets homework, can’t sit still, or seems to be “daydreaming” in class, ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) could be the reason.
It’s not always bouncing off the walls or constant interruptions. For many kids, especially those who are bright or creative, ADHD shows up in more subtle but equally frustrating ways:
Falling Grades despite hours spent on homework
Missing or incomplete assignments (even when they know the material)
Frequent parent-teacher conferences about behavior or focus
Low self-esteem from hearing “You’re not living up to your potential”
Zoning out in class, then scrambling to catch up later
Procrastination and disorganization that lead to last-minute panic
Blurting out answers or interrupting without meaning to
Emotional outbursts over small things like transitions or routine changes
As a parent, you may feel confused—wondering if your child is being lazy, defiant, or just going through a phase. But the truth is: they’re trying, and something deeper could be getting in the way.
Is Your teen preparing for college or a professional exam?
If your child needs accommodations for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, MCAT, LSAT, or other high-stakes exams, a simple ADHD screener won’t be enough. These testing boards require a comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation that meets very specific guidelines.
Our team specialize in evaluations that are tailored to meet the requirements set by the College Board and other accrediting organizations. We know exactly what documentation is needed to support accommodations such as extended time, separate testing environments, or breaks during testing.
Whether your teen is heading to college or pursuing a professional license, we’ll guide you through the process—from evaluation to documentation—so they can test with confidence.
ADHD DOESN’T DISAPPEAR IN ADULTHOOD
ADHD TESTING FOR ADULTS
GET WORK ACCOMMODATIONS
You might have been the "kid who never got diagnosed"—and now you're the adult constantly playing catch-up, wondering why you can’t just “get it together.” If you’re constantly overwhelmed, forgetful, or struggling to stay organized no matter how hard you try, undiagnosed ADHD could be the reason.
Adult ADHD often hides behind labels like “scattered,” “lazy,” or “unmotivated,” but the truth is, it’s a real neurological condition that can impact nearly every area of life:
Difficulty focusing during meetings, conversations, or while reading
Chronic procrastination or inability to follow through on tasks
Underperformance at work, despite high intelligence or creativity
Missed deadlines, appointments, or bills due to forgetfulness
Feeling constantly overwhelmed or disorganized
Strained relationships from impulsive comments or emotional reactivity
At The Mind Center, our adult ADHD evaluations are designed to provide clarity—not judgment. We use a comprehensive approach that includes clinical interviews, behavioral questionnaires, and FDA-approved computerized tools to track attention, impulsivity, and movement. Our reports are widely accepted by HR Departments.
Benefits of an ADHD Evaluation
Get to the bottom of it
ADHD maybe the root cause of attention, behavior, or academic issues—and rules out other possibilities like anxiety or learning differences.
School & Work accommodations
An evaluation provides the documentation required for 504 Plans, IEPs, and extended time on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, MCAT, and more.
Early Intervention
Early evaluation opens the door to a wealth of resources and can be used with schools for educational interventions, pediatricians for medication management, work for accommodations or therapists for behavioral strategies.
Our Computerized Testing Approach
HOW IT WORKS
The test taker completes the computerized task (either remotely or in person)
Active Testing Time:
Ages 4-5: ~7.5 minutes
Ages 6–12: ~15 minutes
Ages 13–60: ~20 minutes
Testing Includes:
Real-time supervision via in-person or virtually
A distraction-free testing setup with webcam tracking
A second device for observation (for remote testing)
Receive a same-week report with interpretation by a licensed clinician
Our team uses computerized tests for identifying ADHD:
Measures attention, impulsivity, and motor activity using a simple, game-like task
Can be administered in our office or virtually
Provides a visual report comparing your child’s performance to peers
Great for parents seeking objective data to bring to schools for educational interventions, pediatricians for medication management, or therapists for behavioral strategies.
Unlike questionnaires alone, our computerized test offers objective data to support clinical decision-making.
It’s safe, easy to use, and designed for individuals starting 4 years old and older.
What You’ll Receive
After testing, you’ll get:
A detailed report showing how your child’s attention, impulsivity, and activity compare to peers
A visual symptom scale to easily understand results
Ready-to-implement interventions
School, College, and Work Accommodations
please note, we offer 2 types of computerized tests. One test is FDA approved and uses facial recognition; the other is approved by Pearson and does not use facial recognition. Both are valid and reliable. Have more questions? Contact us today.

Compared to the ADHD Screener Evaluation, the results from the ADHD Evaluation (with IQ + Academic Skills) can better inform the school team of the academic impact of ADHD and it can better guide the team on the interventions needed (e.g. special education services, to name a few)
